ABOUT Michelle Gill & Buffalo Creek Designs
Buffalo Creek Designs, “BCreek”, is a design company. As a Wix Professional Web Designer, I design websites for authors, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. BCreek is also an Event Planning Company located in Roanoke, Virginia.
My training and experience started at Roanoke College. While attending RC, I managed a local coffee shop, Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea. I worked on various political campaigns and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. My first professional job after college was as the New River Valley Area Director of the American Heart Association, I covered eleven counties and five AHA Boards of Directors. I moved to Richmond as the Colonial Area Director and planned the 1st Annual Williamsburg American Heart Association Heart Gala at the Kingsmill Resort.
In 2000, I accepted the position of VP of Promotions & Events for Spectrum Research & Consulting in Tallahassee, Florida, planning various political and non-profit events. From 2003 to 2005, I traveled the state of Florida assessing resorts and planning conferences for the state universities and Florida legislature as the Associate Director of the Florida Student Association. For five years, I was also the Golf Tournament Director for the Association of the United States Army in Tallahassee as the founder of the event.
My first company was an event planning and political consulting business established in 2005 - Redfish Event Management in Tallahassee. In 2009, we moved back to my hometown of Roanoke and after many requests for my design work, I started my own web design business - Buffalo Creek Designs in 2012.
Hospitality, organization, experience, and creativity are my strengths whether in organizing your special event or building your online home.
