Michelle was very attentive to our wants and needs. She set up a photo shoot and used pictures from our shop so our website is now very eye catching! She was easy to work with and had wonderful suggestions. I highly recommend her work!

I also built their parent company site:

Michelle is a remarkable woman, a "find" for the creative artist or writer. She has great technical skill, an intuitive sense of how information can be shared within a website so that it both draws the visitor in and leaves him or her wanting to know more...AND she is encouraging and fun to work with. Further, she remains interested in her clients and frequently contacts them with some new idea. I have sent her new business connections and will continue to do so.

With very little guidance Michelle Gill created the PERFECT website for me. I know nothing about computers and I am horrible at design. She asked me a few questions and ran with it - and I couldn't be happier with the results. Michelle is right on time, an excellent communicator and follows through. I HIGHLY recommend her and will use her for all my website needs from here on out.

Not only did Michelle set up a GORGEOUS website for me, but she also created and/or linked all the other important pieces to my site an author needs, including Mail Chimp for newsletters, Amazon and Goodreads author accounts, and my social media (twitter, fb, Instagram). She was savvy, creative, efficient, listened well, and knew how to pull off exactly what I wanted. She wasn’t satisfied with the job until I was, even through all the little tweaks at the end. Highly recommend. Oh, and she’s priced reasonably too.

Michelle is an absolute pleasure to work with. She's a seasoned professional with an incredible eye for design and an expert in social media promotion. I have received so many compliments on the website she created for me. I've been told it's sophisticated, classy, and gorgeous. I couldn't agree more! I will continue to use Michelle in the future as I add additional content to my site and whenever I need sage advice on book promotion. She is fantastic!

What to Expect working with Buffalo Creek Designs

for Website Design:

  1. Conversation via phone or email about what your needs and ideas are for your website.

  2. I email you a recap and estimate with a start date.

  3. You agree. That email agreement is our contract.

  4. You receive an invoice for half up front as a retainer through Square.

  5. I send you a list of items, logins, and content to send me. (Expect more questions as I get into the build.)

  6. I build the base for your site and send you a first look.

  7. You email me a list of edits, additions, and deletions.

  8. We will have a conversation about how to use your site, suggestions I may have, and what else you feel that you need.

  9. Once the site is completed and you love your new website then you will receive your last invoice. Once that payment is made, I will transfer full ownership to you. (Late payments will accrue 20% of total project late fee.)

  10. Any questions or tweaks following the completion are free. I am always available. Any page additions or new creations, I charge by the hour.

  11. I will send you links to review my work. Most of my work comes from referrals so I always appreciate good reviews and maintaining great relationships with my clients.

  • You must email content. I keep emails as records of the process. I do not mind calls or texts but not for content of your website.

  • Get professional photos taken of product, headshots, or any photos that you require for your website. Websites are visual and you need quality photographs. I can pull photographs from my database options for backgrounds, headers, etc. so you do not need to provide all photographs.

  • Please label photographs that you share with me.
